Softball happens fast. Your mind needs a plan.

At 43 feet, a hitter has a fraction of a second to decide. A pitcher can throw a hundred pitches in a tournament day. A fielder spends most of the game waiting for the one ball that matters. The players who thrive are the ones who own the space between pitches.

The NOYN®: Mental Tools Evaluation measures the psychological variables that matter for performance, compares you to elite athletes, and points you to the mental training tools that fit how your brain works—not someone else’s.

Fourteen variables. Three categories.

Seven are well established in the research. Seven are new to NOYN®, discovered through decades of applied work with elite performers.

1

Performance

How you compete in the circle and at the plate—commitment to your approach, composure with runners on, and bouncing back from a strikeout.

2

You with others

How you connect with coaches and teammates. Communication, taking instruction, and the energy you bring to the dugout.

3

You with you

Your internal headspace through doubleheaders and tournament weekends: self-talk, confidence, and letting go of the last play.

How the NOYN®: Mental Tools Evaluation works

A 20–30 minute online assessment, answered in the context of softball. Your report shows where you stand and which mental skills will move the needle.

  1. 01

    Define

Measure the specific, well-defined areas of mental performance that matter—fourteen of them, backed by decades of data.

  2. 02

    Compare

See how your profile stacks up against the NOYN® database of first-round picks, All-Stars, national champions, and MVPs.

  3. 03

    Align

Use your results to match the mental training tools that fit how your brain actually works—then train them in the NOYN app.
