Exit velocity, spin rate, sprint speed, readiness scores—every department in baseball runs on data. Front offices use it for selection, coaches for development plans, trainers to reduce injury risk.
The area north of the neck fell behind. The NOYN®: Mental Tools Evaluation closes that gap. It measures the psychological variables separating good players from great ones, then aligns training with how each player’s brain works.
Seven are well established in the research. Seven are new to NOYN®, discovered through decades of applied work with elite performers.
How you compete—approach at the plate, command under pressure, and the way you respond to an 0-2 count or a blown save.
How you interact with coaches, catchers, and teammates. How you take instruction, communicate, and fit a clubhouse.
Your internal headspace across a 162-game grind or a short college season: self-talk, emotional control, and how you handle slumps.
A 20–30 minute online assessment, answered in the context of baseball. Your report shows where you stand and which mental skills will move the needle.
01
Measure the specific, well-defined areas of mental performance that matter—fourteen of them, backed by decades of data.
02
See how your profile stacks up against the NOYN® database of first-round picks, All-Stars, national champions, and MVPs.
03
Use your results to match the mental training tools that fit how your brain actually works—then train them in the NOYN app.
High school through pro. Understand your mental strengths and the skills that will move your game.
Expand your understanding of every player on the roster and coach each one the way they learn best.
The same approach used to evaluate first-round picks, built for player selection and development.
